After many months of hard work, Planet Robot is proud to offer our latest production, and the first series which is developed fully in house by us. We present to you Zoomer and Radar Robot, one of the more primitive, rare, and desirable of the 1950's battery operated robots!
Originally produced by T.N. Nomura of Japan, most likely mid to late 1950s. Many variations can be found as they were very popular, thanks to the functional blocky primitive design and endearing human like features.
We have strived to provide you with a selection that must be what it was like in the past, walking into a shop and you have all these choices! Like a child in a candy shop, what a joy!
Some have with light-bulb eyes, others with an eerie red glow behind hollow
eyes. All with the classic lumbering robot walk, and that famous wrench! They
are battery operated, and takes one UM-2 (C cell) uniquely inserted across
the chest cavity, no other robot has this feature.

Our first fully in-house production, these replicas are of the finest handcrafted quality and absolutely limited. Each one individually stamped with a unique serial number. If not for our built-in markers, they are absolutely indistinguishable from the originals.
Each comes with the correct Zoomer Robot or rare Radar Robot old style stapled hard cover box with beautifully sharp color lithography, produced with the same zealous attention to authenticity as the robots themselves.
To commemorate our first in house release, and in tribute to the unknown box artist whose vision was never realized, we present the ultra special Radar Robot Boxart Version. In striking red and metallic black livery, exactly as envisioned on the boxart. Not for sale, just 50 units were made as a promotional gift to members.
