Payment
All sales are charged in US Dollars (USD). The minimum transaction amount
is set at $30. We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover,
and American Express), as well as all major debit cards and direct transfers.
All payments are encrypted and securely processed by our payment processor,
PayPal.
Planet Robot has been built with PayPal as the only transaction engine. We believe PayPal has created the safest, easiest-to-use, and most cost effective platform for businesses and individuals to send and receive money.

Shipping
All orders will normally be processed within 48 hours of receiving payment
confirmation. To ensure that you get the best value for money, we ship worldwide
direct from our warehouse in Taiwan, close to our manufacturing centers. That
means there are no location specific re-stocking costs added on, and you get
your item faster. Our savings are passed directly to you rather than added
to the price of the product.
Our standard shipping is via first class registered Air, flat-rate to most destinations worldwide. US orders should arrive within 5 days, but may take up to 14 days. All other International orders should arrive within 14 days but may take up to 21 days. You may upgrade shipping to Express (3-7 days worldwide) upon request and at additional cost.
Customs charges and clearances are the responsibility of the purchaser. For Express shipping upgrades or any further shipping queries, contact us.
Returns
Thank you for shopping with Planet Robot! We hope you enjoy your new purchase,
and we’re grateful for your business. We’re a small company with real human
beings (not just web pages and computers), so we really do appreciate your
order. We do our best to offer the best products (products that we really
would collect ourselves), and helpful, responsive customer service. We have
developed what we believe is a fair return policy; as stated here on our web
site, please note that by purchasing goods from Planet Robot, you have agreed
to the following:
All sales are final: Because of the limited edition nature of our products we cannot accept returns on non-faulty items and cannot issue credits or exchanges for different items. Items returned damaged due to customer abuse or negligence will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion or cancel your order or provide you with an equivalent replacement if an item is not available. A full refund will be provided if we refuse service or cancel your order.
Faulty Returns: All the products we sell are very collectible, handcrafted and assembled by hand in very small quantities. It is not unusual for slight imperfections in this type of product such as blemishes, factory touch-ups etc., and in fact may most often enhance the value. But if you have received any items that are significantly defective (i.e. broken or missing parts) right out of the box, we will provide you with a replacement or exchange or refund you your purchase less shipping costs, providing you have followed our returns procedure detailed below:
Returns Procedure: Contact Planet Robot by email detailing your problem. This must be done within 10 days of receipt of item. We will then issue you with a Return number, which you must quote on any correspondence with us. We will only accept defective returns for items that are received complete in their original state, with all inserts and accessories. Pack your return in a manner equal to our original packing (please package carefully as we are not liable for any damage or loss occurring in transit), label it with your Return number and post/ship it back to us. Returns received without a returns number will be refused by our returns department. Once we have received your goods we will inspect them and contact you to complete the return. Proof of return and cost of returns are the responsibility of the purchaser.
Privacy
Planet Robot is committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the
information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data
Protection Act 1998) and this information will never be passed to outside
parties.
We collect information about you for 2 reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service.
Any financial information that you may enter when making payment is not collected or stored by us. This information is encrypted and securely processed by our payment processor, PayPal.
We may use cookies to track the patterns of behavior of visitors to our site and these are stored on your browser. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information collected in this way can be used to identify you unless you modify your browser settings. However, if your settings do not permit cookies from us, you will be unable to access certain portions of our website.
